This page explains, in plain words, what data exists when you play Lily's Dress-Up Adventure. The short version: the game collects nothing. The longer version, because parents deserve one:
What runs where
- This site is static pages. There is no server-side program that receives information from you: no sign-up form, no comments, no leaderboards, no backend database.
- The game (
index.htmland its files) is a single-player browser game. Every part of it — the dress-up, the kitchen, the 3D beach and the sandcastle builder — runs entirely inside your browser on your device. During play it makes zero network requests: nothing is downloaded and nothing is uploaded. - The site owner's own server/host only sees the standard, unavoidable logs any web host keeps (which file was requested, and the IP address of the request), used for serving pages and nothing else.
What is stored on your device
- Your game progress — outfits, chosen friend, energy, swim style and your sandcastle — is saved in your browser's localStorage, on your device only. It never leaves your device and is not read by anyone else. Clearing the browser's site data deletes it completely.
- The site sets no first-party cookies of its own and uses no analytics, fingerprinting or measurement tools — not Google Analytics, not anything else.
Advertising (when enabled)
Today the landing page contains only clearly-labelled empty ad placeholders. This section describes what changes if and when Google AdSense is enabled on the landing page — ads are never placed inside the game itself.
- If advertising is enabled, it is served by Google AdSense.
Google and its vendors use cookies to serve ads based on prior
visits to this or other websites. In particular, Google's
Advertising Cookie (the
test_cookie/DSIDcookies on Google domains) is used to personalize ads. You can read Google's own description at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. - This site is a children's game and is operated as a child-directed site. Advertising is configured for non-personalized (contextual) ads only: ads are chosen from the page's content, not from a profile of your browsing, and remarketing and interest-based targeting are disabled for this property. This is also how Google requires child-directed properties to be treated under COPPA.
- Consent for cookies/ads on visitors in the EEA/UK is handled through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent manager once ads are enabled, in line with GDPR and Google's EU user consent policy.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising by Google at any time: visit adssettings.google.com (Google Ads Settings), or use the Opt Out Personalization link in Google's ads. Note that this site already requests non-personalized ads given its child-directed setting.
- Google's own policies apply to anything Google's ad code collects: see the Google Privacy Policy and the Google advertising policies.
- Beyond Google AdSense, this site uses no third-party advertising, analytics or data vendors at all.
Children (COPPA)
Lily's Dress-Up Adventure is a game for young children, and we treat it that way: the game requires no information from anyone (not even an email), collects nothing, and sets no cookies itself. Because the site is child-directed, advertising — if enabled — is limited to contextual, non-personalized ads as described above, in line with COPPA and Google's child-directed treatment requirements. If you are a parent who believes a child's data was nevertheless captured through an ad impression on this site, contact us and we will escalate with Google and remove the offending inventory.
California (CCPA/CPRA) note
This site does not sell or share personal information, and collects no personal information of its own. Accordingly there is nothing to "Do Not Sell/Share": if ad cookies are ever active through Google AdSense, they are used under Google's policies (linked above), and the Google Ads Settings opt-out in the advertising section is the equivalent control.
Changes to this policy
If anything here changes, the change will be real and visible — we will update this page and its effective date. Material changes will be noted here plainly, because quietly changing a privacy policy is how everyone else does it.
