👗 Dress-up
The wardrobe is where most visits begin. Lily stands on a little fitting stage, and every piece of clothing is one big button away. Tap a sweater and she is wearing it; tap a different one and it swaps. There is no wrong outfit and nothing to unlock.
What's in the wardrobe
- 6 hairstyles: Long Hair, Curly Pigtails, Bouncy Bob, Ponytail, Space Buns and Big Curly.
- 8 tops: from a Pink T-Shirt and a Ladybug Tee to a Cozy Hoodie and a Sparkly Dress.
- 8 bottoms: skirts (Tutu, Plaid, Dotty Red, Party and more), Blue Shorts and Denim Jeans.
- 6 pairs of shoes: Pink Sneakers, Rain Boots, Ballet Flats, Sparkle Sandals, Bunny Slippers and Sport Sneakers.
- 6 swimsuits for the beach, from the Sunny One-Piece to the Lavender Ruffle.
- 7 extras: Strawberry Bow, Magic Wand, Sun Hat, Tiny Backpack, Party Hat, Flower Crown and Cat Ears.
Every piece is drawn to fit every character, so a child can mix anything with anything. The Undo button steps back one change at a time, which takes the worry out of experimenting: a four-year-old who taps five things in a row can always get back to the outfit they liked.
Four friends to dress
Lily isn't alone. On the Friends screen a child can choose who they are playing as today: Lily, Amara, Mei or Sofia. Each friend has her own look, and the whole wardrobe works for all of them. Many children like to give each friend a signature outfit, or dress them all alike for a "team day" at the beach.
What children practise here
- Making choices and changing their mind — without any penalty, which matters a lot at this age.
- Colours, patterns and names of things: stripes, dots, plaid, sparkles; slippers versus sandals. Reading the item names aloud together is an easy early-reading moment.
- Dressing for a purpose: swimsuits come into their own at the beach, and a Sun Hat or Rain Boots invite a small story about where Lily is going today.
Ideas for playing together
- Ask your child to dress Lily "for Grandma's house" or "for a party", then walk her there on the town map.
- Take turns: you choose the top, they choose everything else — and they tell you why.
- Print the paper dolls with the same clothes and recreate a favourite outfit on paper.
